Emerson is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst Sr. Site FP&A in Pune to lead monthly reporting, close cycles and site profitability analysis. You’ll work with the Financial Services Group to ensure accurate financial reporting and drive improvements in processes and controls.

The ideal candidate has CMA/CA/MBA Finance with 6–7 years FP&A experience, hands-on ERP like Oracle and Hyperion, and proficiency in Power BI. Strong communication and adaptability to global timelines are essential.

• Maintain SOX CP&P controls and ensure correct accounting.
• Coordinate intercompany recharges and vendor invoice coding.

Senior Financial Analyst Sr. Site FP&A Job Summary

If you are a Finance professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Financial Analyst to work with our Financial Services Group in Pune. We value autonomy, self-reliance, fast movers, a passion for robust and ability to maintained quality of financial reporting.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Manage the monthly reporting process, ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to Site/BU/WA stakeholders.
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual actual financial closes, meeting reporting deadlines and explaining variations.
• Analysis & Review of SG&A cost centres and provide commentary for major deviations.
• Support in monthly Forecasting, Mid Year Review and Annual Budgets.
• Provide support for internal and external audit requests.
• Analysis & Review of monthly Financials before TB load in HFM & post HFM upload.
• Review Monthly Journal Entries for GL postings.
• Analysis & replies to Queries from Site controllers/WA/BU Finance operations.
• Supporting/Performing Site POR (Rolling Budgets) activities as per WA timelines.
• Discussions with business managers for Orders Funnel, preparation of till date data & forecasting for rest of the year.
• Drive Clearing of Balance Sheet open & aged items regularly mainly for accounts.
• Bank reconciliation, Petty cash, Tax balances, Payroll related GL’s, advances to suppliers, lease accounts etc.
• Create and maintain Invoice coding database for recurring vendors and ensure correct invoice coding for all the supplier’s invoices and approval through Esker system.
• Working on Various MIS Reports for finance stakeholder mainly management decks.
• Ensure Intercompany recharges are calculated on time and invoices sent for payment.
• Site level profitability analysis.
• Cash flow preparation on monthly/ quarterly basis & update to Site Controllers.
• Ensure foreign currency exposures are reviewed and validated on monthly basis.
• Review & Analysis of Site Headcount as per HR & SharePoint and make sure correct reporting of Cost centres.
• Maintenance of appropriate Internal Controls and compliance with SOX and CP&P.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Finance Professional (CMA/CA/MBA Finance) with minimum 6-7 year of work experience in FP&A Domain.
• Hands on experience in ERP, MS Office, and reporting tools.
• Self-starter, suggesting and implementing improvements to the processes.
• Balance stakeholder, Situational adaptability, manages complexities & Manages ambiguity.
• Ability to think creatively, driven, and self-motivated.
• Demonstrated ability to roll-up your sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
• High standards of accuracy and highly organized.
• Flexible to work as per World Area/sites timelines especially during month ends & any specific requests.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant, CMA.
• Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• System Knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management, Power BI or related presentation tools.
