Emerson is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join the COE in Pune to support the FLMC region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) with over $400M in annual revenue. The role focuses on planning, reporting, forecasting, and driving finance initiatives across legal entities.

You will collaborate with Site Finance, HQ Finance, and cross-functional teams to deliver timely analytics, strengthen controls, and contribute to strategic investment decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of FP&A experience required.
• Hands-on with ERP, MS Office and reporting tools.

• Cross-functional collaboration with Operations & Sales teams.
• Willingness to travel to Germany 1–2 trips per year.

Job Summary

If you are a Finance professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to work with our FP&A COE in Pune.

The Senior FP&A Analyst role will support Emersons FLMC business activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, representing $400M+ in annual revenue. The role has a broad scope to include financial reporting process enhancements, portfolio forecasting, planning and analysis, as well as driving various finance initiatives that spread across legal entities and functional teams. The role is complex, demanding and can be a career booster/accelerator for highly motivated finance professional.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Establish planning and reporting cycles for assigned portfolios including regional consolidation and analysis activities
• Responsible for monthly reporting and forecasting activities in partnership with site operations and finance colleagues
• Drive site finance engagement and initiatives (across business and functional groups) designed to improve financial reporting/analysis and operating performance
• Lead FP&A rigor and simplification initiatives to drive timely, accurate and value-add analytics
• Build collaborative relationships with Site Finance, HQ Finance, GFS and Operating teams
• Support leadership team in preparation of budgets, operating plans, investment strategies, and resource planning
• Support financial reporting on all aspects of business on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Maintain large datasets, systems & processes for reporting and analyzing operating results
• Partner with IT to drive system automation and process optimization
• Provide support for key initiatives & business investment activities
• Share best practices and drive One Emerson initiatives when applicable
• Support internal controls rigor, balance sheet reviews and audits

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Finance Professional with 10+ years of work experience in FP&A Domain
• Hands on experience in ERP, MS Office, and reporting tools
• Analytical thinking ability and good team player
• Internal & External Stakeholder Management
• Cross functional interactions with Operations & Sales teams
• Self-starter, suggesting and implementing improvements to the processes.
• Balance stakeholder, Situational adaptability, manages complexities & Manages ambiguity.
• Strong team player having creative thinking and strategic solutions that help achieve organizational objectives.
• Ability to travel to Germany once or twice a year (for 1 to 2 weeks per trip)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant, CMA
• Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• System Knowledge of Oracle, SAP, Hyperion Financial Management
• Power BI or related presentation tools
