Job summary

WapHire in Gurugram is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to lead FP&A, budgeting, reporting, and strategic finance initiatives. You will partner with business, operations, and leadership to drive data-driven decisions and strong financial performance.

The role requires 5–6 years of experience in finance, with expertise in Excel, SAP/Oracle/NetSuite, and Power BI. It is a full-time, on-site position in Gurugram, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
CA, CMA, MBA (Finance) or CFA (Level II/III) is highly desirable.
5–6 years of experience in financial planning, corporate finance, or controllership roles.
Hands-on experience with financial systems and tools (Excel, Google Sheets, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Power BI).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Lead and manage the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and monthly variance analysis.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business scenarios and investment decisions.
Monitor KPIs and financial metrics, identifying trends and areas of improvement.
Own P&L tracking and performance monitoring across business units.
Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements, dashboards, MIS and management reports.
Act as a business partner to departments like sales, operations, and product teams.
Evaluate new business opportunities, pricing models, and cost structures.
Support strategic initiatives such as new market entry, product launches, and M&A due diligence.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Work closely with auditors during internal/external audits.
Maintain strong documentation and support risk mitigation across finance operations.
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy and compliance.
Ensure timely and compliant payroll execution for all employees.
Administer payroll operations, ensuring precision and adherence to statutory requirements.
Manage payroll cycles, including salary disbursements, tax deductions, and reporting.

About The Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented finance professional to join our finance team as a Senior Finance Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and supporting strategic initiatives. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams-including business, operations, and leadership to provide data-driven insights and enable sound financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
