Hitachi Vantara India Private Limited in Mohali/Gurgaon is seeking a Senior FP&A/Finance Analyst with 5+ years of experience for an on-site role spanning FP&A, financial analysis, BI, and decision support.

You will build models, analyze performance, and provide actionable insights to business leaders, leveraging AI tools and SQL/BI tech in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Senior FP&A / Finance Analyst – SaaS & Technology | 5+ Years | Mohali/Gurgaon | 1 PM–10 PM | On-site

FP&A / Finance AnalystWe are looking for a high-calibre finance professional to join our team in a role that sits at the intersection of FP&A, financial analysis, business intelligence, and decision support.This is not a routine MIS or reporting position. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting into the details, understanding what is driving the numbers, building analytical frameworks, and translating financial information into insights that can influence business decisions.The right person will combine strong technical finance skills with commercial thinking, intellectual curiosity, speed, and a high degree of ownership.

What You'll Own

• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses.
• Analyze business performance across revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow, and key operating drivers.
• Develop management reports and analytical views that make financial performance easier to understand and act upon.
• Investigate significant movements between actuals, forecasts, and budgets and identify the underlying drivers.
• Work with financial and operational datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, opportunities, and risks.
• Bring structure to data that may come from multiple systems, spreadsheets, and business functions.
• Develop analytical models and tools that support planning, resource allocation, and management decision-making.
• Review existing models and reporting processes and improve their accuracy, usability, and scalability.
• Work closely with finance and business stakeholders to understand the commercial context behind the numbers.
• Use AI, automation, and modern analytical tools to improve the speed and quality of finance workflows.
• Take ownership of special projects and analytical questions as they arise.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business finance, or a similar role.
• Excellent financial modelling and forecasting skills.
• Industry Specialization- Software(SaaS), technology sectors
• Advanced Excel / spreadsheet capabilities.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting fundamentals, including accruals, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and cash flow.
• Ability to connect financial performance with underlying business and operational drivers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable working with incomplete, inconsistent, or unstructured information and turning it into something useful.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions without requiring constant direction.
• Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see the broader business picture.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Hands‑on familiarity with AI tools and an ability to use them thoughtfully in analytical workflows.
• Exposure to SQL, BI tools, or other data‑analysis technologies is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
