Job summary

DriveX Mobility is seeking a Finance & Accounts Lead in Bengaluru South to own end-to-end finance operations for a high-velocity 2W rental business. You will manage revenue recognition, AR/AP, GL, reconciliations, and MIS reporting to drive fleet profitability and cash flow health.

You will collaborate with Operations, Service, Procurement, and Business teams, ensuring strong internal controls and timely month-end close while supporting audits and financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B. Com / M. Com / MBA in Finance preferred).
• 4–6 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting as a chartered accountant.
• Knowledge in automobile and/or automotive rentals industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP).
• Strong ownership mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and business teams.
• Problem-solving approach with a bias for identifying gaps and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting and finance operations for the rental business.
• Account for rental revenue, customer billing, and revenue recognition.
• Process vendor invoices and manage Accounts Payable.
• Monitor customer collections and manage Accounts Receivable.
• Record all financial transactions and maintain the General Ledger.
• Perform daily bank, escrow, and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Reconcile finance partner settlements, EMI payments, and collections.
• Account for vehicle procurement, capitalization, and asset records.

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and provisions.

The Finance & Accounts Lead will be responsible for the completeend-to-end finance and accounting operations of a 2W rental business. The roleinvolves managing the entire accounting lifecycle, including revenueaccounting, receivables, payables, bank and escrow reconciliations, vehicleprocurement accounting, service and maintenance accounting, statutorycompliance support, MIS reporting, and end-to-end Profit & Loss (P&L)management.
