Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. in Pune, Maharashtra, India, is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to lead installation, commissioning and maintenance of process compressors, blowers and related systems across the region.

You will engage with customers, perform site visits, drive service plans and support sales/business development as needed. A background of 5–8 years in commissioning and troubleshooting, plus strong client interaction, is essential.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in commissioning, overhauls, servicing, troubleshooting of process compressors / blowers.
• Experience in customer interaction.
• Good understanding of industry's best practices and commercial knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Installation, Commissioning and Inspection & Maintenance activities.
• Support aftermarket activities including sales visits and business development when required.
• Identify prospects for service business and implement service plans to generate revenue.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to review quality and performance of products and services.
• Collect spares & service payments and complete statutory forms from customers in region.
• Generate reports on spares & service business and field issues.

What Will You Do?

• Installation, Commissioning and Inspection & Maintenance activities.
• The responsibility will cover all aspects of the aftermarket support viz. installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, overhauls, servicing, and other technical support to customers and business partners in India. Would also include Sales and Business Development visits as and when required.
• Identifying prospects for service business, implementing the service plans / policies and achieving business goals with respect to revenue generation.
• Regular customer contact to review the quality & performance of the company’s products & services and reporting the same.
• Collection of spares & service payments and statutory forms from the customers in region.
• Report generation: Spares & Service business, field complaints report & analysis etc.

Your Experience Should Be...

• B.Tech/Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in commissioning, overhauls, servicing, trouble shooting of Process compressors (Reciprocating, Centrifugal and Diaphragm) / Blowers and associated systems.
• Experience in customer interaction.
