Job summary

Fable Street is seeking a senior fashion designer to lead the conceptualization and development of western wear collections, from initial idea to final product. You will conduct market research to spot trends and select fabrics, while providing creative direction to ensure alignment with the brand vision and market demands.

You will create detailed sketches, oversee prototypes, and collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and production to ensure cohesive launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field from NIFT.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD).
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and textiles specific to Western wear.
• Excellent sketching and illustration skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Identify and liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and ensure timely production.
• Mentor and develop junior designers, fostering a creative and productive team environment.
• Prepare and present design concepts and collections to senior management and stakeholders.
