Job summary

A premium women's clothing brand in Faridabad is seeking an experienced Senior Fashion Designer to lead the design of westernwear collections. You will create detailed tech packs, coordinate production, and design garments that align with brand aesthetics. Ideal candidates should have over 5 years of experience in women's fashion design, strong technical skills in CADs, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an opportunity to influence the brand's growth and product storytelling.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in women’s westernwear fashion design.
• Experience with Indian sampling/manufacturing units is a plus.
• Strong understanding of women’s westernwear silhouettes and fits.

Responsibilities

• Build strong design stories including themes and color palettes.
• Design categories like dresses and tops based on brand need.
• Create CADs, flats, and detailed tech packs for production.
• Coordinate with production teams for on-time outputs.
• Own fit, finish, and quality through trials and approvals.

Skills

Understanding of women’s westernwear silhouettes, fits, and fabric behavior

Knowledge of garment construction, trims, prints, and finishing

Experience with Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop

Capability in tech pack creation

Understanding of vendor/sourcing for fabrics and trims

Ability to design with premium positioning and commercial practicality

Experience and Qualification

• 5–8+ years in women’s westernwear fashion design (brand/retail/export house)
• Experience with Indian sampling/manufacturing units is a plus
• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design preferred

Qualifications

• Build strong design stories: themes, color palettes, fabric direction, prints, trims, and styling
• Design westernwear categories like dresses, co-ord sets, tops, shirts, trousers, denim, outerwear (based on brand need)
• Create CADs, flats, measurements, and detailed tech packs for production
• Coordinate with pattern masters, sampling, merchandising, and production for on-time outputs
• Own fit, finish, and quality: trials, corrections, approvals, final sign-off
• Track sales insights & customer feedback to improve future collections
• Support brand team with newness ideas, styling direction, and product presentation inputs

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of women’s westernwear silhouettes, fits, and fabric behavior
• Excellent knowledge of garment construction, trims, prints, and finishing
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop for CADs & flats
• Strong capability in tech pack creation and guiding sampling accurately
• Vendor/sourcing understanding for fabrics and trims (India market advantage)
• Ability to design with premium positioning + commercial practicality
