Thermo Fisher Scientific India Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Facilities Coordinator to oversee daily facilities operations, coordinate maintenance, and manage vendor relationships. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environment that supports our global healthcare mission.

You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), implement maintenance schedules, and ensure adherence to health, safety and GMP

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of experience in facilities management or related field.
• Preferred fields: Facilities Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management.
• Certifications in building systems (e.g., low voltage electrical, pressure vessel) required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security and fire systems.
• Experience with facility management software and maintenance tracking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and FM software.
• Experience coordinating maintenance and supervising contractors.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, including GMP standards.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for flexible hours including on-call rotation.
• Experience with space planning and office relocations.
• Budget management and cost optimization.
• Accurate documentation and compliance records.
• Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.
