Job summary

DHL Supply Chain India, a leading logistics provider, is seeking an Operations Associate for Transport Operations and Distribution Management. The role requires strong customer focus, effective communication, and hands-on experience in logistics processes.

You will handle vehicle deliveries, data entry in TMS, and contingency planning to meet customer requirements. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in a similar role in logistics, with experience in 3PL/4PL operations and a Bachelors degree.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience with a similar role in a large organisation, in the logistics sector.
• Experience in Transport Ops / Distribution Management or 3PL/4PL is a must.
• Educational qualifications: B.Com., B.Sc. or BA graduate required.

Responsibilities

• Placement and tracking of on-time delivery of vehicles.
• Accurate and timely entry of transactions in TMS/CW1.
• Ensure duties to customers are performed effectively and proficiently.
• Activate contingency plans for emergencies or special customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Product team (Air/Ocean) to ensure alignment.
• Follow Transport Ops processes and suggest improvements to enhance procedures and customer experience.

• Follow Transport Ops Process
• Collate ideas for improvement with suggested solutions to improve DHL’s procedures, technology and service to positively enhance customer’s experience with DHL
• Ensure adherence to existing Customer Service procedures as outlined in the department manuals, while maintaining discretion to exercise flexibility to customers’ needs within reasonable limits in consultation with supervisors and managers.
