Job summary

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. is seeking a Home & Décor-Sourcing professional to identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and products that meet quality, cost, design, and timelines.

You will manage the sourcing process end-to-end, from identifying potential suppliers and negotiating terms to ensuring timely product development and delivery, with 7–9 years of experience and 5–6 years in Home category preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of overall experience in sourcing.
• 5–6 years of experience in Home category.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Base - Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on product capability, quality, cost, capacity, lead time, compliance.
• Cost Management & Negotiation - Negotiate competitive pricing, MOQs, payment terms, lead time; identify alternate suppliers & sourcing opportunities.
• Quality and Compliance - Ensure sourced products meet defined quality, design and compliance standards; collaborate with suppliers and QC team.
• Timely Execution and Delivery - Ensure products are developed and delivered within agreed timelines; track samples, approvals, production, dispatch and inwards; address delays.
• Product development & Sourcing - Source and develop products/styles per design and cost requirements.
• Risk Management - Identify sourcing risks related to supplier, capacity, pricing, raw material and timelines.
• Sourcing Performance & Process Improvement - Track metrics like cost savings, supplier performance, quality, timelines and new supplier development.

Job description

The purpose of Home & Décor-Sourcing role is to identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and products that meet the organization’s requirements for quality, cost, design, and timelines. Person will beresponsible for managing the sourcing process end-to-end, from identifying potential suppliers and negotiating commercial terms to ensuring timely product development and delivery.

1) Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Base - Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on product capability, quality, cost, capacity, lead time, compliance.

2) Cost Management & Negotiation - Negotiate competitive pricing, MOQ's, payment terms, lead time. Identify alternate suppliers & sourcing oppurtunities.

3) Quality and Compliance - Ensured sourced products meet defined quality, design and compliance standards.Work closely with suppliers and QC team.

4) Timely Execution and Delivery - Ensure products are devloped and delivered within agreed timelines. Tracking samples, approvals, production, dispatch and inwards. Pro-actively address delays and bottle necks.

5) Product development & Sourcing - Source and develop products /styles as per design and cost requirements.

6) Risk Management - Identify potential sourcing risks related to supplier, capacity, pricing, raw material and timelines.

7) Sourcing Performance & Process Improvement - Track key sourcing metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance , Quality , timelines and new supplier development.

Years of Experience Required - 7 to 9 years

5- 6 years of experience in Home Category is must
