Job summary

Keka Inc. is seeking a proactive Sourcing Executive to manage end-to-end activities for our Home category.

You will identify and onboard suppliers, negotiate terms, drive cost optimization, ensure product quality, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality products on time. You will build a robust supplier base, conduct performance reviews, and lead cross-functional initiatives with Product Development, Quality, and Planning teams to optimize margins and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field.
• 2–5 years in sourcing or procurement, preferably in Home, Home Furnishing, Home Décor, Lifestyle, Furniture, orConsumer Goods industry.
• Strong experience in supplier sourcing, vendor development, and commercial negotiations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new domestic and international suppliers for home furnishing, home décor, and lifestyle products.
• Conduct supplier assessments based on quality, manufacturing capabilities, pricing, compliance, capacity, and reliability.
• Build and maintain a healthy supplier base to support business growth and product expansion.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent quality, timely deliveries, and long-term partnerships.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and work with vendors to improve service levels, lead times, and operational efficiency.
• Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure smooth day-to-day coordination.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, MOQs, lead times, contracts, and commercial agreements.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and delivery commitments.
• Support annual cost negotiations and periodic price reviews.
• Partner with Product Development and Quality teams to source products that meet design, quality, and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate product sampling, vendor development, and quality approvals before production.
• Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Track market trends, raw material pricing, emerging suppliers, and competitor offerings within the Home category.
• Identify innovative products, materials, and sourcing opportunities to strengthen the product portfolio.
• Support category expansion by identifying new manufacturing partners and sourcing regions.
• Analyze sourcing costs and identify opportunities for improving product margins.
• Work closely with Planning and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely procurement and inventory availability.
• Support demand planning by monitoring supplier capacities and production timelines.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth product launches and replenishment.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve procurement and supply-related issues efficiently.
• Monitor supplier compliance with quality standards, ethical sourcing practices, and company policies.
• Identify potential supply risks and proactively develop alternate sourcing strategies.
• Ensure all vendor documentation and contracts are updated and compliant.
• Track supplier performance using key metrics such as quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
• Prepare sourcing reports, vendor scorecards, and cost analysis to support business decisions.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and sourcing documentation.

• Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier lifecycle management, and contract negotiations.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced environment.
