Job summary

ZF Rane Automotive India Private Limited is hiring a Senior Executive - Manufacturing Engineering to lead automotive assembly processes within the plant location in Tamil Nadu. The role requires hands-on experience with gear boxes, pumps and injection systems, plus strong knowledge of APQP, PFMEA and SOP development.

You will work on developing SPMs, designing fixtures, selecting assembly tools, and implementing quality control systems like Poka Yoke.

Qualifications

• Experience in Automotive / Metal Cutting industries.
• Assembly process of Gear box, Pump and Injection Systems.
• Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, SOP and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop SPMs and prove out processes for assembly lines.
• Implement Poka Yoke Vision systems to prevent defects.
• Design fixtures and assembly tools, and select appropriate power tools.
• Develop assembly test rigs using torque, sensors, and temperature where needed.
• Create and maintain APQP, PFMEA, operation flow drawings and SOPs.
• Utilize SPMs with load cells, LVDTs and PLC for process validation.
