About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Executive Influencer Marketing who can go beyond influencer coordination and take ownership of strategy, planning, execution and performance across our influencer ecosystem.
As a derma-focused company, our influencer ecosystem goes beyond conventional beauty creators. We work extensively with dermatologists, doctors, skin experts, skinfluencers, creators and other relevant KOLs, both digitally and through our field network.
This role will be responsible for building meaningful influencer and doctor collaborations that strengthen brand credibility, consumer education, product awareness and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Influencer Marketing Strategy
- Develop monthly and quarterly influencer marketing strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
- Identify the right mix of:
- Dermatologists & doctors
- Skin experts
- Beauty/skincare influencers
- Micro, macro and mega creators
- UGC creators
- Relevant celebrities/KOLs
- Build influencer strategies based on brand objective, product, target audience, campaign stage and platform.
- Identify opportunities for always-on influencer programs rather than relying only on one-off collaborations.
- Develop strategies around product launches, awareness campaigns, education-led campaigns, product trials, reviews and conversion campaigns.
- Track emerging influencer trends, formats, platforms and creator opportunities.
2. Dermatologist & Doctor Influencer Ecosystem
- Develop and manage a structured dermatologist/KOL collaboration strategy.
- Identify relevant dermatologists and doctors for different brand/product objectives.
- Build long‑term relationships with key doctors rather than treating collaborations as one-time transactions.
- Coordinate with the field/RM team to identify and strengthen doctor relationships.
- Develop content opportunities with doctors around the product.
- Maintain a database of doctors, their specialties, audience profiles, content performance, collaborations and relationship status.
- Ensure communication with doctors is professional, scientifically accurate and aligned with brand positioning.
3. Campaign Planning & Execution
- Own the influencer campaign lifecycle from identifying influencer till reporting.
- Develop detailed campaign briefs and content directions for creators.
- Work closely with the creative/content team to develop strong campaign concepts and hooks.
- Ensure influencer content remains authentic while communicating the required product/brand message.
- Manage timelines, deliverables and campaign calendars.
- Coordinate with internal teams, agencies, influencers, doctors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Handle multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines.
4. Influencer Identification & Evaluation
- Research and shortlist influencers based on:
- Audience relevance
- Content quality
- Engagement
- Reach
- Audience demographics
- Brand fit
- Credibility
- Past collaborations
- Performance history
- Evaluate influencers beyond follower count.
- Identify creators who can contribute to brand building as well as performance.
- Maintain and continuously expand the company's influencer/KOL database.
- Monitor competitor influencer activity and identify gaps/opportunities for our brands.
5. Budget & Commercial Management
- Assist in planning and allocating monthly influencer marketing budgets.
- Negotiate influencer commercials and deliverables.
- Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of collaborations.
- Maintain campaign-wise budget trackers and spends.
- Ensure influencer investments are aligned with expected campaign outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency without compromising creator quality.
6. Performance Tracking & Analytics
- Track, analyse and report influencer campaign performance on a regular basis.
- Measure Performance metrics.
- Identify top-performing creators, content formats and communication themes.
- Convert campaign data into actionable recommendations for future campaigns.
- Build a creator performance database to inform future selection and investment decisions.
7. Content & Brand Thinking
- Understand the science and positioning behind derma/skincare products and translate it into creator-friendly communication.
- Work with the content team to develop:
- Campaign hooks
- Creator briefs
- Talking points
- Content formats
- Product education narratives
- Ensure influencer communication does not become generic beauty advertising.
- Push for content that is educational, credible, engaging and culturally relevant.
- Maintain consistency with the brand's scientific and dermatology-led positioning.
8. PR, Launches & Influencer Seeding
- Plan influencer activities around new product launches.
- Develop product seeding and PR strategies for relevant creators and doctors.
- Manage influencer gifting/PR campaigns from planning to execution.
- Develop innovative PR and seeding ideas that create curiosity and organic conversations.
- Coordinate with the PR agency wherever influencer activity overlaps with larger brand campaigns.
9. Competitive & Market Intelligence
- Regularly monitor competitor brands and their influencer/KOL strategies.
- Identify white spaces and opportunities for our brands.
Ideal Candidate
- Has 35 years of experience in influencer marketing, preferably in skincare, beauty, healthcare, wellness, FMCG or a related category.
- Has experience working with dermatologists/doctors/KOLs as well as conventional influencers.
- Has an interest in skincare, dermatology, science-led beauty or healthcare communication.
