Role Purpose

The Senior Executive - Recruitment will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process across corporate, retail, warehouse, D2C and other business functions. The role will partner closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements, source relevant talent, drive interview processes and ensure timely closure of positions while maintaining a strong candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from manpower requisition to onboarding.
• Understand job requirements and prepare/validate Job Descriptions in consultation with hiring managers.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, employee referrals, consultants, social media and other relevant channels.
• Screen CVs and conduct preliminary discussions with candidates to assess suitability.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and ensure timely feedback and closure.
• Manage offer discussions, salary negotiations and candidate closures within approved budgets.
• Maintain an active talent pipeline for critical and recurring positions.
• Handle recruitment for corporate, retail stores, warehouse, D2C and business functions as required.
• Coordinate background verification and reference checks as per company process.
• Ensure smooth pre-joining engagement and joining formalities for selected candidates.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with HODs and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and priorities.
• Regularly communicate recruitment status, challenges and expected closure timelines.
• Partner with business teams to improve hiring quality and reduce time-to-hire.
• Coordinate with manpower consultants and external recruitment partners where required.

Recruitment MIS & Process Management

• Maintain recruitment trackers, requisition records and candidate databases.
• Track open positions, interview status, offers, joining status and closures.
• Prepare periodic recruitment MIS and hiring reports.
• Monitor recruitment turnaround time and ensure positions are closed within agreed timelines.
• Identify bottlenecks in the recruitment process and recommend improvements.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to recruitment processes and policies.
• Strong sourcing and candidate assessment skills.
• Good understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously.
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and recruitment platforms.

Qualification

• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Graduate degree in any discipline.

Preferred Experience

• 3-6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment.
• Experience in Retail, Fashion, Apparel, D2C, E-commerce or similar fast-paced industries will be preferred.
• Exposure to both corporate and volume/retail hiring will be an added advantage.
