Job summary

Accenture in India is seeking a Controllership Associate focused on Fixed Asset Accounting. The role covers balance sheet and P&L analysis for all India GU entities, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting.

You will lead fixed asset transactions, inter-unit transfers, and asset reconciliations, while coordinating with stakeholders to maintain control standards and tax compliance. This is a hands-on opportunity in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Fixed Asset Accounting experience under US GAAP and Local GAAP.
• Balance Sheet and P&L analysis for India entities.
• Understanding of local statutory tax compliance rules.

Responsibilities

• Handle Fixed Asset transactions under US GAAP and Local GAAP.
• Manage Inter-Unit Transfer process and FP&A reconciliations.
• Reconcile Fixed Assets with physical asset lists and obtain PV confirmations.
• Prepare MIS ageing reports and SOX controls documentation.
• Interact with stakeholders to ensure timely financial reporting.

What would you do?

• The position is primarily responsible for Fixed Asset Accounting, Balance Sheet and P&L analysis and review for all India GU entities as per USGAAP Local GAAP.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure integrity of all accounting principles and procedures Manage core accounting billing cash and receivables processes Ensure compliance with local and statutory tax compliance rules
• Design and implement process and solutions to record and process all aspects of fixed assets accounting.
• Includes chart of accounts alignment, back office integration, folio management, payment processing, transfer & retirement of assets, physical inventory and Construction In Process (CIP) project accounting.
