Job summary

Rentokil Initial Hygiene is seeking a Senior Executive Credit Control in Mumbai to manage collection portfolios, monitor new accounts and drive timely collections in collaboration with sales and operations teams.

The role reports to the Branch Manager and requires 2–5 years of experience in B2B collections, with a focus on GST and invoicing processes. This position is based at our Mumbai site and involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Graduate (Any Stream) with 2+ years B2B collection experience.
• Experience in credit control and collections.
• Proficient in GST and billing queries.

Responsibilities

• Manage the collection portfolio of the assigned branch and achieve collection targets
• Closely monitor new accounts and drive collections during the first 3 months in coordination with the sales team
• Monitor invoice submissions done by the operations team
• Resolve GST, billing, and other customer queries on time
• Ensure strong follow-up with customers for collections
• Maintain Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) as per company policy
• Identify reasons for non-payment and communicate issues for corrective action
• Visit customers with outstanding dues over 120 days
• Conduct account ledger scrutiny and customer reconciliations
• Review accounts weekly to reduce unapplied cash
• Ensure strict adherence to the company’s credit policy

About the Role:

• The Executive/Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager will be responsible for achieving collection targets, maintaining DSO & monitoring of invoice submission and new accounts
• The incumbent will report to the Branch Manager. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team, and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.
