Job summary

BookMyShow in Mumbai is seeking a proactive Business Development professional to grow our partner network, pitch venues, and onboard clients for event-ticket campaigns across Maharashtra and adjacent states.

You will travel within the West region, manage client relationships end-to-end, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize listings and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

Your Profile

• Business development in the assigned cities.
• Meet new clients on-field, pitching and convincing them to sell their event/venue tickets on BookMyShow.
• Travel within the West region as required
• Manage incoming leads and DIY leads on a daily basis
• Develop and maintain assigned client relationships
• Create client pitches and proposals tailored to specific requirements
• Manage and service all assigned clients end-to-end (calling, meeting, negotiating, closure, onboarding, campaign management, and after-sales support)
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth event listings and marketing initiatives
• Track ongoing market event initiatives to refine strategy and support annual targets
• Serve as the key POC for Small, Medium, and Large Scale Brands/Organizers
• Research and onboard new organizers and venues
• Maintain and update daily sales trackers and databases

Your Checklist

• 4-5 years of experience in Business Development/Sales & client servicing
• Taking ownership and deliver results, ability to multitask and be self motivated
• Effective time management, negotiation skills, client management and presentation skills
• Hunger for convincing and selling and should be result orientated
• Good written and verbal communication
• Well versed with Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa locations
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office
