Job summary

HDFC ERGO General Insurance is seeking a Senior Executive - Bancassurance in Ambala to lead bancassurance strategy and execution. The role involves designing growth strategies, achieving GWP targets, and coordinating with line managers, channel partners, and bank teams.

The incumbent will train and mentor 5–7 sales managers, drive channel relationships, and ensure timely hiring while maintaining diversity. This permanent position is based at a branch in Ambala.

Responsibilities

• Bancassurance strategy & execution.
• Designing, implementing and executing strategies for continuous growth; discussing and allocating the penetration percentage to the team.
• Ensuring achievement of Gross Written Premium (GWP), market share and budgeted numbers.
• Regular interaction and coordination with line managers, channel partners, third-party team and the bank line.
• Providing required training to the team and periodic review of performance and setting agendas.
• Responsible for timely hiring, maintaining and encouraging diversity and controlling attrition.
• Grooming and hand-holding of direct reports including 5 to 7 Sales Managers.
• Engagement with channel and channel management through product training and Rewards & Recognition drives.
• Maintaining channel relationship management and ensuring adherence by internal team members; coordination with internal & external teams.
• Daily coordination with the internal team via huddles or one-to-one calls while managing relationships across the bank.
