Toto India Industries is seeking a cost-focused professional to oversee costing, variance analysis, and budgeting functions in Gujarat. The role involves maintaining standard costing, applying ABC to allocate indirect costs, and supporting pricing with robust cost data.

You will analyze inventories, identify cost savings, and prepare data for internal and statutory auditors, collaborating with operations and finance to strengthen cost controls. This position is based on-site in Gujarat.

Responsabilidades

• Calculate the full cost of producing each product or delivering each service.
• Maintain and update the standard cost system used as baseline for actual costs.
• Conduct variance analysis comparing actual material, labour, and overhead costs to standards.
• Apply Activity-Based Costing (ABC) to assign indirect costs to products, customers, or processes.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Analyze inventory levels; flag slow-moving or obsolete stock to leadership.
• Support pricing decisions by providing cost data to commercial and sales teams.
• Budgeting and forecasting: create annual, half-yearly, and rolling budgets.
• Routine accounting work: inventory aging, monthly close, expense bookings.
• Prepare and share cost audit data with necessary workings.
• Prepare data required by internal and statuary auditors.
• Collaborate with operations and finance to implement cost controls.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Calculate the full cost of producing each product or delivering each service (product costing)
• Maintain and update the standard cost system the baseline against which actual costs are measured
• Conduct variance analysis: compare actual material, labour, and overhead costs to standard and explain the gap
• Apply Activity-Based Costing (ABC) to assign indirect costs accurately to products, customers, or processes
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities
• Analyze inventory levels and flag slow-moving or obsolete stock to operations and finance leadership
• Support pricing decisions by providing cost data to the commercial and sales teams
• Budgeting and Forecasting, creating annual, half yearly, and rolling budgets to align departmental spending with the company's strategic goals
• Routine Accounting work, Inventory Ageing, Monthly accounts closing, expense booking etc.
• Preparation and sharing Cost audit data along with necessary workings
• Preparation of data as required by Internal and statuary Auditors.
