Job summary

Sharda Group is seeking an ESG Manager to deploy and operationalize the company's ESG strategy across manufacturing plants and support functions. You will align site-level initiatives with corporate sustainability goals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed ESG practices into the business.

You will coordinate data collection for BRSR and SEBI disclosures across plants, support BRSR assurance, and drive dashboards that track energy use, emissions, water, and waste.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operationalize the organization's ESG strategy across manufacturing plants and support functions
• Align site-level initiatives with corporate sustainability goals and targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed ESG practices into business
• Coordinate data collation across plants and offices, validate data, and lead end-to-end BRSR preparation
• Support BRSR Assurance as prescribed by SEBI
• Coordinate with vendors for BRSR core data and data collection via software or Google Forms
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely data collection and validation
• Monitor key sustainability metrics such as energy intensity, GHG emissions, water consumption, and waste generation
• Develop and maintain dashboards for performance tracking and reporting
• Analyze trends and drive corrective actions for performance improvement
• Identify and implement projects to reduce carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency
• Promote resource optimization through waste reduction, recycling, and water conservation initiative
• Support adoption of renewable energy and low-carbon technologies
• Manage customer-specific ESG requirements and ensure compliance with OEM standards
• Track and improve ESG performance based on OEM scorecards and feedback

2. Manage BRSR / ESGReporting and Disclosures (SEBI), CoordinateESG Data Collection Across Multiple Plants

• a) Coordinate with plants/offices for Collation of data inSoftware, regular coordination at location level (Plant and offices), datavalidation, lead end-to-end preparation of BRSR and other ESG disclosures inline with regulatory requirements


• b) Support in BRSR Assurance as prescribed by SEBI.


• c) Coordinate with vendors for BRSR core data, trainingand collection of data through software or google forms


• d) Coordinatewith internal stakeholders for timely data collection and validation .

• a) Monitor keysustainability metrics such as energy intensity, GHG emissions, waterconsumption, and waste generation

Drive Decarbonization and Resource Efficiency

6. Handle OEM ESGRequirements, Audits, and Scorecards

• a) Managecustomer-specific ESG requirements and ensure compliance with OEM standards
