KEC International is seeking an experienced ESG professional to lead sustainability initiatives across manufacturing and EPC projects. You will develop disclosure projects, set climate transition strategies, and coordinate ESG data collection across diverse sites.

The role requires 8–10 years in sustainability, with deep knowledge of global standards like GRI, BRSR, GHG Protocol, and SBTi. You will engage stakeholders and ensure audit-ready compliance while advancing the company’s ESG agenda.

Qualificações

• 8-10 years in Sustainability domain in consulting/Corporate.
• Knowledge of global environmental standards and frameworks (GRI, BRSR, GHG Protocol, SBTi).
• Experience in ESG disclosure projects and climate transition strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Develop ESG disclosure projects and climate transition strategies for Manufacturing/EPC.
• Collect and verify non-financial metrics and prepare disclosures aligned with frameworks.
• Identify, assess and mitigate ESG risks.
• Engage stakeholders including investors and regulators.
• Ensure audit-ready compliance with evolving regulations.
• Coordinate ESG data across sites and SBUs.
• Support ESG reporting framework implementation and improvement.
• Prepare Social & Environment Management Plans per funding agencies.
• Provide technical ESG support to site management.

Role & responsibilities

8- 10 years in Sustainability domain in consulting/Corporate. Knowledge and experience in global environmental standards and frameworks: such as GRI, BRSR, GHG Protocol, SBTi and others.

• Develop ESG disclosure projects, climate change transition strategies for Manufacturing / EPC Industry and exposure in setting up sustainability management organisation
• Data Collection & Reporting: Gather and verify non-financial metrics (such as carbon footprints or labor standards) and prepare disclosures aligned with global frameworks like BRSR, GRI, IR.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate environmental, social, or governance-related business risks.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate ESG performance to investors, regulators, senior leadership, and external communities.
• Compliance: Monitor changing regulations and reporting mandates to ensure audit-ready corporate compliance.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to collate, validate, calculate, aggregate ESG data from Various businesses and locations.
• Rating: Work related to ESG reports in accordance with frameworks and ratings.
• Propose and implement strategies to address various environmental concerns including energy and water use, conservation, reduction of pollution, emissions and solid waste, recycling and general education on sustainability in the supply chain.
• Good presentation skills in making excels and PPTs and presenting to varying groups of individuals and stakeholders.
• Preparation of Social & Environment Management Plan as per the guidelines of funding Agencies like World Bank, ADB, JICA.
• Monitor and improve ESG related initiatives for SBUs
• Sustainability reporting framework implementation and improvement.
• Participating in ESG improvement programs
• To monitor the effective implementation of the ESG initiatives at site.
• Responsible for compliance of ESG related statutory requirements and compliance
• Conduct and support Water, Energy auditing and examination of legal compliance processes.
• Provides technical support to site management on any ESG related subjects.
