Job summary

SVA EPC And Infra Project Pvt. Ltd. in Panvel, Maharashtra is seeking a Senior Civil Estimation & Costing Engineer to lead detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and comprehensive cost estimates for residential and high-rise projects.

You will review drawings, compute rates, and ensure accurate tender costing and cost control. Ideal candidates have 15–20 years in construction with 7–10 years in estimation for residential developments, and proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Total experience 15–20 years in the construction industry.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in estimation and costing for residential construction projects
• Experience with high-rise residential buildings and large-scale residential developments
• Excellent knowledge of quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and tender costing
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs from architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for residential and high-rise construction projects.
• Conduct rate analysis for materials, labour, equipment, subcontracting, and civil finishing activities.
• Handle estimation for RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, gypsum, tiling, painting, and other finishing works.
• Review tender documents, drawings, technical specifications, and project scope.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative statements.
• Prepare tender estimates, budget estimates, revised estimates, and cost projections.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, planning, and execution teams for accurate costing.
• Monitor estimated costs against actual project costs and identify cost variations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and technical specifications.
• Prepare rate justifications, cost reports, and estimation-related documentation.
• Identify discrepancies in drawings, BOQs, and specifications and coordinate for necessary clarifications.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B.E. Civil Engineering / B.Tech Civil Engineering.

• 15–20 years of total professional experience in the construction industry.

• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in estimation and costing for residential construction projects

• Strong experience in high-rise residential buildings and large-scale residential developments.

• Excellent knowledge of quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and tender costing.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.

• Strong understanding of construction material rates, labour costs, subcontractor rates, and market pricing.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience working with reputed real estate developers and turnkey contractors will be preferred.

• Must have independently handled estimation and costing for residential projects.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

• Candidates based in Pune, Mumbai, Panvel, or nearby locations will be preferred.
