Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in Chennai seeks a Sr. Engineer-Trims Engineering CoE to drive project requirements from kickoff to implementation.

You’ll support engineering, drawing and model release, CAE validation, DFMEA, and CAD support in collaboration with internal and supplier experts. Experience in trims engineering (2–4 years) is preferred and a Diploma or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in trims industry.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements as per program milestones and support project delivery from kickoff to implementation.
• Provide engineering and design support including QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model release, CAE and physical validation support, and DFMEA.
• CAD support for engineering proposals preparation in consultation with internal/external experts; release of drawings and models with system engineer.

Sr. Engineer-Trims Engineering CoE Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

(Any OEM Product development gateway systems)Support Project delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation, including QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model preparation release, CAE and physical validation support, development Implementation support, DFMEA, DVP CAD support for engineering proposals preparation in consultation with internal external (supplier) experts Release of drawings and model with system engineer Preparation of Bill of Material Support to CDMM and other implementation team for part development and quality initiatives Experience 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Trims Industry
