Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited seeks a Senior Engineer for automotive interior trim design and development. You will support team goals in cost, weight, performance, and timelines, while aligning with regulatory and DV plan requirements.

You will collaborate with CAE, NVH, PVT, suppliers and project teams to ensure high-quality, customer-focused trim design. Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of experience in interior trim packaging and component integration, with strong CATIA and 3DX skills and

Senior Engineer Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Support the team lead in delivering interior trims to cost, weight, performance and timeline targets.
• Provide technical inputs for benchmarking, future roadmap and proof-of-concept readiness.
• Coordinate regulatory, functional and durability DVP requirements.
• Drive first-time-right delivery and propose mitigation plans.
• Track upcoming regulations and incorporate changes for future programs.
• Support achievement of Feature Integration targets.
• Collaborate with CFTs like CAE, BSR, NVH, STA, DE, VD, PQ, NovaC, Validation, PVT, suppliers and project teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused product design.
• Interior trim packaging and integration expertise.
• Knowledge of IS/AIS, ECE, ADR and FMVSS applicability.
• Understanding of product development and lifecycle management.
• Awareness of regulatory, functional and durability validation requirements.
