Job summary

Atlanta Electricals seeks a dedicated Electrical Test Engineer to develop and execute test plans for transformers and electrical equipment. You will validate software functionality against requirements and coordinate test activities across teams.

You will calibrate and maintain transformer test equipment, ensure safety and compliance, and prepare detailed test result reports and records for inspections with customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience in developing and executing test plans for electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Ensure test runs and results within the given time frame. Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications. Identify, report, and track software defects and issues. Perform functional, performance, security, and regression testing of software products.
• Developing and executing test plans for transformers and electrical equipment
• Conducting transformer testing activities, including routine, type, and special tests
• Preparing test result reports and error reports for transformers with negative test results
• Calibrating, and maintaining transformer test equipment
• Adhering to safety and compliance standards during all testing procedures
• Working with cross-functional teams to address performance issues and improve product quality
• Day-to-day production planning to achieve maximum production
• Inspecting the transformer at each stage of production and after completion
• Preparing records for test reports and production
• Coordinating with customers to ensure the successful completion of an inspection
