ENERCON is seeking a Senior Engineer for SW Testing & Validation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Bengaluru. You will design test specs, implement automated test cases with EXAM, and run HiL tests to validate firmware and control software within wind energy projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Solid understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and their integration into renewable energy systems.
• Experience with HiL systems (e.g., dSPACE) and automated test environments, especially EXAM.
• Experience in test specification, test case implementation, and execution of automated HiL tests.

Responsibilities

• Test specification & test case implementation in automated test software (EXAM) for functions of battery storage system within windfarms.
• Execution & evaluation and analysis of HiL-tests (Hardware-in-the-Loop).
• Commissioning and parametrization of new firmware on the device-under-tests for the HiL-system.
• Debugging and optimization of parameters of the firmware of the BESS‑System and superior controller.
• Operation of test equipment and test automation infrastructure.
• Collaboration in agile development teams.
