Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, Power, or Energy Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in renewable energy, including 2–4 years in BESS engineering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Technical Due Diligence (TDD) for standalone and hybrid BESS projects.
• Review feasibility studies, DPRs, energy yield assessments, grid studies, and engineering documents.
• Evaluate battery technologies, degradation, lifecycle performance, and system sizing.
• Review SLDs, layouts, protection schemes, EMS/SCADA architecture, and detailed engineering.
• Monitor project execution, conduct site inspections, and ensure quality and contractual compliance.
• Review FAT, SAT, commissioning reports, and performance testing.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, UL, NFPA, CEA, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with clients, EPC contractors, OEMs, and project stakeholders.

Role Summary

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Li-ion BESS (LFP/NMC), PCS, EMS, SCADA, and BMS.
• Understanding of grid integration, power system studies, battery degradation, thermal management, and fire protection.
• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, UL, NFPA, and CEA standards.
• Proficiency in ETAP, DIgSILENT, PVSyst (preferred), AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, Power, or Energy Engineering (master's preferred).
• 5–8 years of experience in renewable energy, including 2–4 years in BESS engineering, consulting, or project execution.
