in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Engineer Silicon Validation for Compute to own pre- and post-silicon validation of compute subsystems, validate ARM cores and interconnects, and drive validation across hardware and software teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in silicon validation with strong C programming, experience with JTAG debuggers (Lauterbach), ARMv8/v9, and a track record of debugging and documenting complex validation flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering / Embedded Systems
• 5+ years of experience in Silicon Validation, Embedded Software, or SoC Validation
• Strong C programming experience
• Experience with system debugging and embedded operating systems or bare-metal programming
• Strong knowledge of ARM CPU architecture
• Hands-on experience in Pre-Silicon (Emulation) and Post-Silicon validation
• Experience with JTAG debuggers (e.g., Lauterbach)
• Familiarity with ARMv8 and ARMv9 architectures
• Excellent analytical, debugging, documentation, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pre-silicon and post-silicon validation plans for Compute subsystems
• Validate ARM CPU cores, coherent interconnects, and compute-related SoC components
• Perform system bring-up, debugging, and validation using embedded operating systems and bare-metal environments
• Debug hardware and software issues using JTAG tools such as Lauterbach
• Develop and execute test cases to validate compute functionality, stability, and performance
• Analyze failures and collaborate with architecture, RTL, firmware, and software teams to resolve issues
• Develop automation scripts to improve validation efficiency
• Prepare validation reports and technical documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of validation methodologies and automation frameworks
