Job summary

Mettlesemi Systems and Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Engineer Silicon Validation in Bangalore.

The role demands 5+ years of experience in embedded software development and silicon validation, with strong C programming skills and expertise across pre- and post-silicon validation of SoCs. You will validate power management features, work on ARM cores, DMA, fabrics, and Linux driver development, while collaborating with HW/RTL teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development and Silicon Validation.
• Strong Embedded C programming skills.
• Expertise in pre-silicon and post-silicon SoC validation involving ARM cores, DMA, fabrics, and related subsystems.
• Strong experience in Linux boot flow and Linux device driver development.
• Familiarity with modern memory architectures (ARM preferred).
• Experience with Python and Shell scripting using YAML and JSON databases.
• Experience in debugging performance issues and bottleneck analysis.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation plans for SoC power management features during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
• Validate power domains, clocking, reset sequences, ARM cores, DMA, and fabric subsystems.
• Develop and debug Linux boot flow, BSP, and device drivers related to power management.
• Perform functional, performance, and low-power validation.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell.
• Analyze power-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and optimize system behavior.
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, RTL, and software teams to resolve validation issues.
• Prepare validation reports and technical documentation.
• Enhance validation methodologies and automation frameworks.
