Job summary

Mettlesemi Systems and Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Engineer for Silicon Validation and SLT. You will develop and execute SLT plans, perform CPU/memory validation, debug issues, and drive automation using Embedded C and Python on Linux-based platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in silicon validation and strong system debugging skills, with collaboration across RTL, firmware, hardware, and software teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics/Electrical/CS/Embedded Systems or related field.
• 5+ years of Silicon Validation and SLT experience.
• Embedded software background with C and Python skills.
• Post-silicon SoC validation with SLT experience.
• Experience with CPU and memory validation and system debugging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute System Level Testing plans for post-silicon validation.
• Perform CPU, memory, and platform-level validation to ensure product quality.
• Debug hardware and software issues across system-level environments.
• Develop automation using Embedded C and Python.
• Work with Linux-based bring-up, testing, and debugging.
• Support mass production, yield analysis, and customer debug activities.
• Collaborate with RTL, firmware, hardware, and software teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare validation reports and technical documentation.
• Continuously improve SLT methodologies and automation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Silicon Validation and System Level Testing (SLT).
• Embedded software engineering background with strong Embedded C and Python programming skills.
• Post-silicon SoC validation expertise with System Level Testing.
• Experience with CPU and Memory validation is preferred.
• Strong experience in system debugging.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux.
• Familiarity with SLT and mass production flows, yield issues, and customer debug activities.
