A leading aviation technology firm in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Engineer - Reliability to enhance aircraft performance and reliability through data analysis and collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree and have at least 4 years of experience in reliability engineering, with strong analytical and communication skills essential for this full-time role.

Formación

• 4 years of experience in reliability engineering or related field.
• FAA 121 Airline Operator experience preferred.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and guidelines.
• FAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs experience.
• Master's degree preferred (Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical).
• 6+ years of experience preferred.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance and repair.

Responsabilidades

• Mature the PSA Reliability Program for CRJ-700/900.
• Ensure accurate reporting on Delays, Cancellations and AOG Aircraft.
• Identify root cause and corrective actions for issues impacting technical performance.
• Report data for reliability meetings and reports.
• Analyze design, operation, maintenance, performance or repair of aircraft and components.
• Develop solutions with cost/benefit analysis and manage implementation including FAA approvals.
• Provide 7 day a week coverage for the Chronic Program on a rotating basis; travel up to 10% to PSA Headquarters.

Overview

Senior Engineer - Reliability at American’s Tech Hub in Hyderabad, India. This role is part of PSA’s Technical Operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive reliability, performance improvements, and solutions that enhance both the bottom line and customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Mature the PSA Reliability Program to ensure the best technical performance of the CRJ-700/900 while continually performing closed-looped reliability analysis
• Ensure complete and accurate reporting on the Delays, Cancellations and AOG Aircraft that impact PSA operations
• Identify root cause and corrective actions for the top issues that impact PSA’s technical performance
• Report out on all needed data for reliability meetings / reports
• Understand, analyze and seek solutions to the design, operation, maintenance, performance or repair of aircraft and their components
• Develop solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation which can include obtaining FAA approvals and coordinate warranty recovery on SBs that are applicable
• Other duties as assigned by Tech Services leadership
• On a rotating basis provide 7 day a week coverage for the Chronic Program within PSA’s fleet
• Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time, as needed, to the PSA Headquarters

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
• 4 years of experience in a reliability engineering or related field
• FAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
