Job summary

Amantya Technologies is seeking a Senior Engineer with strong expertise in RDBMS and SQL to enhance our mature relational data model used by a large financial sector customer base. You will collaborate with application developers and customer database teams to ensure high performance, data integrity and scalability.

You will work closely with both application developers and customers database teams to ensure high performance, data integrity, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relational databases (primarily MS SQL and Oracle) interacting with Java-based backend services.
• Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions.
• Collaborate with database specialists from customers to evolve and improve the existing data model.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across the application and database layers.
• Design and maintain efficient database structures and relationships, improvements in schema refactoring, data migration, and query optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to technical vision, design discussions and technical documentation.
• Support release deployments and production issue resolution, troubleshoot database issues and ensure high availability of systems

Qualifications
