Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Database Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our client on product enhancements and provide post-go-live production support for users across the US, Bangkok, Philippines, Shanghai, and Penang.

We are open to candidates with strong hands-on experience in any relational database technology. You do not need experience in all databases listed below. Strong expertise in at least one database, along with a willingness to learn and work with other database technologies, is what we are looking for.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product enhancements.
• Provide post-go-live production support and troubleshoot database-related issues.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries using advanced SQL functions.
• Perform query performance tuning, optimization, and debugging.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, indexes, and views.
• Design and maintain database objects and understand complex data structures within RDBMS environments.
• Work with different database technologies as required and learn new technologies when needed.
• Collaborate with development and support teams to resolve database-related issues.

Required Candidate Profile:

• Database Experience: Strong hands-on experience in at least one relational database such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• SQL & Stored Procedures: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience writing and debugging stored procedures and complex queries.
• Query Optimization: Good understanding of query performance tuning and optimization.
• Database Development: Experience working with triggers, indexes, views, and other database objects.
• Learning Ability: Candidates should be willing to learn and work with other database technologies as required.
• Industry Experience: Manufacturing domain experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
