Job summary

R&R Infratech (india) is seeking a Senior Engineer QA/QC (Civil) specializing in building finishing and aluminium formwork to lead quality on site in Jamnagar. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures and quality standards for civil finishing and aluminium formwork.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work follows drawings, specs, method statements and ITPs.
• Inspect aluminium/Mivan formwork for line, level, plumb and alignment.
• Check formwork prep, reinforcement interfaces, openings and joints before concrete pours.
• Inspect plastering, masonry, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceiling, doors/windows and other finishing works.
• Prepare and maintain IRs, checklists, inspection reports and quality records.
• Coordinate with consultants/client reps for inspections and approvals.
• Review and implement Method Statements, ITPs and Quality Control Plans.
• Monitor workmanship and identify quality deviations early.
• Raise and close NCRs and quality issues with execution team.
• Conduct pre-inspections and final inspections before handover.
• Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors for rectification.
• Ensure mock-ups/sample approvals before large finishing works.
• Maintain records of material approvals, test reports and quality documentation.
• Participate in quality review meetings and provide technical inputs.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly QA/QC reports and maintain project quality records.

Experience

• *5–8 years* of relevant experience in *QA/QC for building construction projects, with strong hands‑on experience in **building finishing works and aluminium formwork (Mivan/Aluminium Formwork)***.

Qualification

• * Candidates with strong site-based QA/QC experience in finishing works and aluminium formwork will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor *QA/QC procedures and quality standards* for civil, finishing and aluminium formwork works.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements and ITPs.
• Hands‑on inspection of *aluminium formwork/Mivan formwork*, including line, level, plumb, dimensions, alignment and proper installation.
• Check formwork preparation, reinforcement interfaces, embedded items, openings and construction joints before concrete pouring.
• Inspect *plastering, masonry, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceiling, doors/windows and other finishing works*.
• Prepare and maintain *Inspection Requests (IR), checklists, inspection reports and quality records*.
• Coordinate with consultants/client representatives for inspections, approvals and quality‑related issues.
• Review and implement approved *Method Statements, ITPs and Quality Control Plans*.
• Monitor workmanship and identify quality deviations/non‑conformities at an early stage.
• Raise and close *NCRs, observations and quality issues* in coordination with the execution team.
• Conduct pre‑inspections and final inspections before offering works to the consultant/client.
• Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors for rectification and timely closure of quality issues.
• Ensure proper *mock‑ups/sample approvals* before commencement of large‑scale finishing works.
• Monitor finishing works for alignment, level, line, plumb, surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain records of material approvals, test reports, inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Participate in quality review meetings and provide technical inputs to improve workmanship.
• Prepare *daily/weekly/monthly QA/QC reports* and maintain project quality records.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable *IS codes and approved quality standards*.

Aluminium Formwork – Key Responsibilities

• Inspect aluminium formwork installation as per approved drawings and formwork layout.
• Check *line, level, plumb, dimensions and alignment* of walls, slabs, beams and other structural elements.
• Verify proper fixing, tightening, supports and stability of aluminium formwork before concreting.
• Check reinforcement, cover, sleeves, openings, inserts and embedded items prior to concrete pour.
• Inspect construction joints and interfaces between structural and finishing elements.
• Monitor concrete pour readiness and coordinate with the execution team for pre‑pour inspections.
• Identify recurring formwork‑related defects and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
• Ensure proper surface finish after de‑shuttering and coordinate rectification of defects.

Building Finishing Works Experience

The candidate should have hands‑on QA/QC experience in:

• Masonry and blockwork
• Internal and external plastering
• Flooring and tiling
• Waterproofing
• Internal and external painting
• False ceiling

• Stone/granite/marble works
• External faade/finishing works
