Job summary

Jindal Stainless (JSL) in India is seeking a Project Planning & Execution professional to help develop schedules, define milestones, allocate resources, and track daily progress on heavy machinery projects.

You will review engineering drawings, P&IDs, equipment manuals, and service layouts, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and supervise on-site installation to ensure compliance with specifications. Strong focus on EHS guidelines and thorough documentation will be essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project schedules, defining milestones, allocating resources, and tracking daily progress.
• Interpret and analyse engineering drawings, P&IDs, equipment manuals, and service layouts.
• Coordinate with contractors, equipment suppliers, and service providers for the procurement and installation of heavy machinery.
• Oversee on-site construction, structural installation, Pipe Design Pipe and Flow Calculation and mechanical assemblies to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Implement test procedures to ensure structural and operational reliability; conduct routine checks on incoming materials and installations.
• Strictly enforce EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines, conduct hazard identifications (HIRA),and issue work permits on the project site.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, daily logs, material consumption, and technical reports.
