Job summary

Mace is seeking a Senior Engineer - Civil Construction to supervise civil works for the NDLS New Delhi Railway Station Redevelopment project. Based in New Delhi, you will coordinate with multiple contractors and stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in civil construction projects.
• Minimum 2 years in a Senior Engineer/Construction Engineer role.
• Minimum 3 years in Airport/Railway/Metro/Station Buildings/Hotel/Hospital/Institutional/Commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the site.
• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Review contractor work quality and compliance with standards.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor quantities and work execution for billing and certification.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental regulations compliance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Assist in planning, resource allocation, and sequencing.
• Coordinate testing, quality inspections, and material approvals.
• Maintain project documentation and technical correspondence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Review and verify contractor work quality and compliance with technical standards.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Monitor quantities, measurements, and work execution for billing and certification.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and construction sequencing.
• Coordinate testing, quality inspections, and material approvals.
• Maintain project documentation, site records, and technical correspondence.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineering).

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of overall professional experience in civil construction projects.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role as Senior Engineer/Construction Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in eligible Airport/Railway/Metro/Station Buildings/Hotel/Hospital/ Institutional Buildings/ Commercial building construction projects.
• Experience in supervision of large-scale civil construction works is preferred.
