PeopleStrong is seeking a Site Engineer - Civil to manage planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction activities at project sites. You will supervise earthworks, foundations, RCC works, masonry and external developments while ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, QMS and safety standards.

The Site Engineer - Civil is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing all civil construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The role involves overseeing site operations related to earthworks, excavation, foundations, reinforced concrete structures, structural works, masonry, finishing works, external developments, roads, drainage systems, and associated infrastructure. The engineer shall review construction drawings, method statements, technical specifications, and work procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
Key responsibilities include monitoring day-to-day construction activities, managing subcontractors, coordinating with consultants, clients, and other project disciplines, and ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with approved schedules. The Site Engineer shall verify setting-out activities, levels, dimensions, and construction quality, while conducting site inspections and resolving technical and construction-related issues. Additional duties include planning manpower and resources, coordinating material deliveries, monitoring productivity, controlling wastage, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
The engineer shall prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, maintain site records, monitor quantities and resource utilization, coordinate inspections with QA/QC teams, and ensure compliance with project quality plans and HSE requirements. The role also includes supporting testing and commissioning activities, addressing punch-list items, and assisting with project close-out and handover documentation.
Experience in Data Centre, Industrial, Commercial Building, Infrastructure, High-Rise, or Mission Critical Facility Projects is preferred. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, reinforced concrete works, construction sequencing, quality control procedures, safety regulations, and relevant IS, ASTM, BS, and project-specific standards. A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2+ years of relevant construction experience is required. Strong technical, planning, coordination, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills are essential for delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
