Job summary

Vertiv Co in India is seeking a Sr. Engineer – Power Hardware to lead and coordinate R&D, QA, testing and production for rectifier products. You will own project timelines, review technical accuracy, and apply new trends to improve efficiency across the product line.

The role requires 5–6 years of power electronics design experience, strong knowledge of power conversion, and familiarity with CAD tools. Excellent English communication and independent work capability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in power electronics design & development is required.
• Strong knowledge of power conversion design & manufacturing.
• Experience in Industrial grade Rectifier or UPS product design, familiar with PFC, inverter circuit, buck, boost & LLC circuit principle & design.
• Familiarity with control theory, analog, digital & electric, plus strong analytical & problem-solving skill required.
• Thorough understanding of applied maths & physics is plus.
• Experience on handling project independently and guide team members as needed.
• Exposure of computer-aided drafting (CAD) software is added advantage.
• Exposure to embedded software development is added advantage.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
