Job summary

Raheja Universal (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting for real estate development projects in Madh Island, Mumbai.

You will develop project schedules, track progress, identify delays and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure timely completion. The role requires 5-8 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in project planning, preferably in real estate or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and project controls.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and project reporting/MIS.
• Good understanding of construction activities, project sequencing, and critical path analysis.
• Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage project timelines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, master schedules, and execution plans for real estate projects.
• Prepare baseline schedules and monitor actual progress against planned milestones.
• Track project activities, critical paths, dependencies, and key deliverables.
• Coordinate with Project, Construction, Design, Procurement, Contracts, MEP, and other teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Identify delays, slippages, and potential risks and prepare recovery plans.
• Conduct regular progress reviews and provide management with updates on project status.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, MIS, and management presentations.
• Monitor project milestones and highlight deviations from approved schedules.
• Review contractor schedules and assess their progress against agreed timelines.
• Support project teams in developing catch-up and mitigation plans for delayed activities.
• Conduct schedule impact analysis for changes, variations, and delays.
• Maintain accurate planning documentation and ensure timely updates to project schedules.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve planning and execution-related issues.
• Drive schedule adherence and support the project team in achieving timely project completion.
