Job summary

The House of Abhinandan Lodha is seeking a proactive planning professional to support project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controls across real estate projects in Mumbai. You will drive timelines with effective planning and reporting mechanisms.

Ideal candidate has 6–8 years in planning within construction or real estate, with Primavera P6, MSP, AutoCAD, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills; NICMAR or related postgraduate qualification preferred.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (DCE/BE Civil) required; NICMAR preferred.
  • NICMAR or postgraduate qualification in Construction Management is advantageous.
  • 6–8 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, monitoring and controls.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring realistic planning and timely execution of project milestones.
  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules, identify critical path activities, and highlight potential delays and risks.
  • Recommend corrective actions, recovery plans, and schedule optimization measures to achieve project timelines.
  • Prepare and track project dashboards, MIS reports, progress reports, and management presentations.
  • Collect, validate, and consolidate weekly/fortnightly progress updates from project sites and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Design, Procurement, Contracts, Construction, Finance, and Project Management to facilitate project delivery.
  • Visit project sites as required to review progress, validate schedules, and resolve planning-related challenges.

Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented planning professional to support project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control across real estate/construction projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to drive project timelines through effective planning and reporting mechanisms.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring realistic planning and timely execution of project milestones.
  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules, identify critical path activities, and highlight potential delays and risks.
  • Recommend corrective actions, recovery plans, and schedule optimization measures to achieve project timelines.
  • Prepare and track project dashboards, MIS reports, progress reports, and management presentations.
  • Collect, validate, and consolidate weekly/fortnightly progress updates from project sites and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings, track action items, prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoM), and ensure timely closure of identified concerns.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Design, Procurement, Contracts, Construction, Finance, and Project Management to facilitate project delivery.
  • Analyze productivity trends, resource utilization, project performance metrics, and key project data to support decision-making.
  • Support management with project status updates, forecasts, and risk assessments.
  • Visit project sites as required to review progress, validate schedules, and resolve planning-related challenges.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the project lifecycle, from approvals and design development through execution, handover, and closeout.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, planning methodologies, and emerging construction technologies.

Experience
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in Project Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring, and Controls within the Construction or Real Estate industry.
  • Prior site execution experience of 24 years will be an added advantage.
  • Experience across residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments preferred.
