Job summary

Tata AutoComp in India seeks a quality engineer to compile NC data, analyze quality trends, and perform audits as per IATF 16949 QMS. You will calibrate equipment, conduct MSA studies, and manage internal QMS audits while tackling customer quality issues.

The role requires expertise in IATF core tools, GD&T reading, and experience with final inspection scanners and precision metrology. Strong problem solving and CNC process knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified internal auditor of IATF 16949 QMS is required.
• IATF core tools PPAP, SPC, MSA, APQP, FMEA are essential.
• Problem solving tools such as 8D and A3 are expected.
• TQM understanding and application is preferred.
• Final Inspection: knowledge and experience with auto optical inspection scanners setup and troubleshooting.
• Instrument handling: calibration of gauges per ISO/IEC 17025 where applicable, CMM programming and operation.

Responsibilities
