Unisys India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer for MDM_Intune to deploy software, manage updates, and ensure device compliance across Windows, iOS and Android using Microsoft Intune and MEM tools.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, policy configuration, automation with PowerShell and Graph API, and delivering custom reports while advancing deployment workflows and security updates across a large, heterogeneous environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Intune (or MEM) for software distribution, patch management and device compliance.
• Experience in enterprise support processes: incident, problem, change, service requests, asset and configuration management.
• 5–7 years of experience in engineering, building and supporting a large, heterogeneous multi‑platform environment (Windows, mobile).

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise support processes including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Service Request Management.
• Manage a large, heterogeneous Windows and mobile environment with 3‑5 years' experience in engineering and support.
• Oversee software deployment, updates and patch rollout policies using Intune and Endpoint Configuration Profiles.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures and ensure timely, successful rollouts across devices.
• Configure device enrollment, compliance policies and security updates via Intune.
• Implement Intune concepts: Autopilot, Azure AD Join, and device lifecycle management.
• Integrate PowerShell scripts and Graph API for advanced deployments and automation.
• Package and deploy applications via Intune and Win32 packaging tools.
• Create custom Intune reports for compliance, deployment status and asset management.

What success looks like in this role:

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in deploying software, managing updates, and ensuring compliance for end‑user devices (Windows, iOS, Android) using Microsoft Intune and related Microsoft Endpoint Management (MEM) tools. The role will involve troubleshooting infrastructure and client issues, managing device compliance, and optimizing deployment workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Custom reporting , system upgrades , and exploring new features within Intune are essential parts of the position. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Experience : Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Intune (or Microsoft Endpoint Manager ) for Software Distribution, Patch Management, and Device Compliance.

• Enterprise Support Processes : Lead execution of enterprise support processes, including Incident Management , Problem Management , Change Management , Service Request Management , Asset & Configuration Management .
• 3-5 years' experience in engineering, building, and supporting a large, heterogeneous, multi-platform (Windows, mobile) environment.
• Software Deployment & Update Management : In-depth experience in cloud‑based software deployment , managing updates, and configuring patch rollout policies using Intune and Endpoint Configuration Profiles .
• Deployment Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution : Lead the resolution of deployment failures, ensuring timely and successful software rollouts across devices. Proactively investigate deployment‑related incidents and provide effective solutions.
• Infrastructure Knowledge : Experience in client‑side troubleshooting of Intune‑managed devices, including issues related to device enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, and security updates.
• Intune Concepts : Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune configuration and architecture, including: Device Enrollment (Azure AD Join, Autopilot) Compliance Policies and Configuration Profiles Software Deployment via Intune (Windows, iOS, Android) Security Updates and Patch Management via Intune Integration Experience .
• Hands‑on experience in integrating Autopilot , Azure Active Directory , and Intune for end‑to‑end device lifecycle management .
• Familiarity with integrating PowerShell scripts and graph API for advanced deployments and automation.
• System & Platform Expertise : Knowledge of configuring and managing software and security patches on various platforms (Windows 10/11, iOS, Android).
• Security & Compliance : Ensure that all security updates are deployed on time and compliant with organizational policies. Implement Conditional Access policies to ensure security compliance across all devices.
• Scripting and Automation : Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating repetitive tasks, troubleshooting, and integrating custom solutions with Intune. Experience using tools like Azure CLI or Microsoft Graph API is a plus.
• Packaging & Deployment : Experience packaging and deploying applications through Intune and integrating third‑party applications. Familiarity with tools like Microsoft App Packaging Tool , PowerShell , and Win32 App Packaging .
• Reporting and Metrics : Create custom Intune reports for device compliance, software deployment status, patching status, and asset management. Maintain and optimize reporting for license validation, software usage, and deployment schedules.
• Service Improvement : Ability to assess and improve existing workflows and Service Improvements related to device management, patch management, and software distribution using Intune . Regularly evaluate the latest features and improvements in Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager .
