Job summary

Unisys Bengaluru is seeking a skilled Windows and Azure Cloud Administrator to own the design, deployment, and ongoing management of Windows Server-based infrastructure on Azure, with AWS as a secondary cloud.

You will implement automation with ARM Templates, Terraform, Azure CLI, and PowerShell, monitor performance and security, and collaborate across teams to ensure reliable, cost-efficient operations.

Job description

What success looks like in this role:

We are looking for a skilled Windows and Azure Cloud Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will take ownership of managing, maintaining, deploying, and automating Windows Server-based infrastructure across leading cloud platforms (Azure primary and AWS secondary). You will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, strengthening system reliability, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our cloud environments.

Strong Hands-on Experience:

• Deployment and management of cloud-based infrastructure on Azure Cloud .
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022) .
• Configure networking, storage, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and system parameters in Windows environments.
• Ensure proper system setup and maintenance for Windows production environments.

Deployment & Automation:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning using tools such as ARM Templates, Terraform, Azure CLI, and PowerShell .

Monitoring & Optimization:

• Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance, availability, and cost.

Security & Compliance:

• Ensure infrastructure adheres to security and compliance standards by implementing network security policies, identity and access management, patch management, and encryption strategies.

Disaster Recovery & Backup Solutions:

• Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) and backup strategies to ensure business continuity.

Collaboration & Mentoring:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and infrastructure enhancements.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote infrastructure best practices.

Incident & Problem Management:

• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure issues while minimizing downtime and business impact.

Azure DevOps Integration:

• Integrate Azure services with CI/CD pipelines and support infrastructure-as-code deployments.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• BA/BS degree and 0-3 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
