Job summary

CLR Facility Services in Mumbai seeks an experienced Meter Management professional to oversee end-to-end operations, including service order handling, SAP-GIS integration, and accurate meter installation, replacement and return processes.

You will monitor orders, coordinate with field teams and vendors, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, SOPs and audit readiness while driving continuous improvement in metering activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical Engineering.
• 12 years of experience in utility operations or meter management.
• Experience with meter installation, removal and replacement.
• Knowledge of SAP, GIS, MS Office and mobile applications.
• Strong analytical, coordination and customer-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end Meter Management operations including service order management, SAP-GIS integration, job allocation, meter dispatch and inventory movement.
• Oversee meter installation, replacement, removal and return activities.
• Monitor service orders (New Connection, Reconnection, Meter Replacement, Investigations) ensuring timely allocation, execution and closure within TAT/SLA.
• Coordinate with field teams, vendor partners, internal teams and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth metering operations.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and SOPs; support audits, safety, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description:

Responsible for end-to-end Meter Management operations, including service order management, SAP-GIS integration, job allocation, meter dispatch, inventory movement, meter installation, meter replacement, meter removal and meter return.

Monitor service orders such as New Connection, Reconnection, Meter Replacement and Investigation orders. Ensure timely order allocation, execution and closure within defined TAT/SLA.

Manage meter inventory, reconciliation and returns to the Meter Testing Department. Ensure accurate SAP-GIS-Mobile system synchronization and compliance with defined processes.

Coordinate with field teams, Vendor Partners, AEML internal teams and customers for smooth execution of metering activities and resolution of customer complaints.

Ensure adherence to Electricity Act, MERC regulations and AEML SOPs. Support audit readiness, safety compliance, reporting, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate should have:

• Graduate in Electrical Engineering
• 12 years of experience
