Job summary

GMR Power Urban Infra is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Delhi to coordinate planning, quality checks, and material delivery for multiple Smart Metering AMISP projects. You will liaise with DISCOM, OEMs, and site teams to ensure timely inspections and contract alignment.

The role demands 10–15 years of PM experience, strong stakeholder management, and hands-on coordination across procurement, QA/QC, and finance.

Qualifications

• B. Tech / Postgraduate degree.
• 10-15 years of experience in Project Management, Coordination and Implementation.
• Hands-on experience in Stakeholder management, Risk Management and Contract Management

Responsibilities

• Driving Project Management of all 3 Smart Metering AMISP Projects.
• Responsible for planning and scheduling monthly and periodic material requirements (Meter, NIC, SIM, Gateways, Cables, etc.).
• Front-ending coordination with SCM and QA/QC for timely material delivery.
• Ensuring timely Inspection Calls, MICC, CIP Clearance and DISCOM coordination with Site Project Team.
• Coordinate with OEM for release and delivery of materials at site.
• Follow-up with Site Team for RCA in coordination with OEM Interface Team.
• SPOC for OM coordination from HQ with OEMs, vendors and Project Team.
• Final validation of Invoice and SLA for OEMs/Partners.
• Routine follow up on Contract related issues with DISCOM and Partners.
• Anchoring Meter testing.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for coordination with Site Operations Team to conduct the meter quality checks, audits. Driving documentation and coordination with DISCOM related to Inspection Calls, MICC with categorized Interim Inspection Report (CIP Clearance).

Responsibilities

• Driving Project Management of all 3 Smart Metering AMISP Projects.
• Responsible for all planning, Scheduling for monthly and periodic requirement of material (Meter, NIC, SIM and Gateways, Cables, etc)
• Front-ending co-ordination with SCM and QA/QC Manager for timely delivery of materials.
• Ensuring raising of timely Inspection Calls, MICC, CIP Clearance and coordination with DISCOM and Site Project Team for all materials.
• Accountable for Coordination with OEM for release and delivery of materials at site.
• Driving follow-up with Site Team for RCA in coordination with OEM Interface Team and OEM.
• SPOC for OM co-ordination from HQ with OEMs, vendors and Project Team.
• Final validation of Invoice and SLA for OEMs/Partners.
• Routine follow up on Contract related issues with DISCOM and Partners
• Anchoring Meter testing.
• Preparation of Business Plans, Presentations to different stakeholders (both internal and External) from Delhi Corporate Office.
