Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru (India) invites an experienced Project Manager to lead AMI operations, ensuring seamless delivery of meters solutions into utility environments. The role requires understanding of DLMS/COSEM, IS16444/IS15959, RF/Cellular, and hands-on delivery across the ecosystem.

You will coordinate with customers, vendors, and partners, report to Program Manager and leadership, drive SAT, and contribute to business process design and deployment.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / MCA or related education is required.
• 8+ years of total IT experience with at least 5+ years in AMI/Smart Metering.
• Experience with AMI components such as HES, MDM, WFM; knowledge of Cloud/Security; familiarity with Smart Metering.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall operations for AMI project.
• Manage all stakeholders including customer, vendor, and partners.
• Report to Program Manager and senior management; review with leadership.
• Responsible for all operational deliverables of the project.
• Day-to-day operations of the project.
• Ensure successful execution of SAT.
• Contribute to business process analysis, deployment planning, training development, and delivery activities.
• Interface with internal and client teams to complete project activities and deliverables.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :
BGSW is looking for an experienced Project Manager with expertise in managing Operations phase of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) projects. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless delivery of BOSCH’s advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) solutions into utility environments. The ideal candidate should have a reasonable understanding of DLMS/COSEM, Smart Metering Standard IS16444, IS15959 part 2 & 3, RF communication, Cellular, and hands-on experience in similar projects including integrations across the eco system.

Responsible for managing all stakeholders such as customer, vendor, partners etc.

Responsible for the successful execution of SAT

Qualifications

Mandatory - B.Tech / MCA or related Education

Optional - Project management certifications / ITIL

Experience :

Total IT experience required is 8+ years, Minimum 5+ years of experience in AMI / Smart Metering Domain

Mandatory/requires Skills :
Working experience of AMI components such as HES, MDM, WFM and knowledge of Cloud/Security, Smart meter etc.

IT Experience - Software life cycle, Development, implementation

Experience in AMI Operations

Preferred Skills :
Know-how of REC RDSS guidelines for AMI projects

Additional Information

Experience in the Utility, Smart Grid, AMI or Energy Management field

Capable of communicating effectively to both business and technical resources

Broad working knowledge of enterprise systems technology including - Databases – Oracle, MySQL; Applications Development platforms - Java, XML; and Networking – Enterprise Security, Firewalls, TCP/IP; Operating Systems - Linux and Windows

Must be able to travel.
