Job summary
Zetwerk is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize line balancing, takt time, and capacity for SMT/assembly operations. You will drive productivity through time studies, data analysis, and workflow improvements.
The role focuses on reducing idle time, improving OEE and UPH, and supporting new line setups and NPI builds within a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of industrial engineering concepts and lean tools.
- Experience with line balancing, takt time, and capacity analysis.
- Hands-on time study and work measurement techniques.
- Understanding of SMT/assembly manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform line balancing and takt time calculation for SMT and FATP lines.
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve productivity.
- Plan and analyze line capacity as per production requirements.
- Monitor and improve OEE, UPH, and overall line efficiency.
- Optimize manpower utilization and reduce idle time.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Support NPI builds and new line setup activities.
- Improve material flow and workstation ergonomics.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform line balancing and takt time calculation for SMT and FATP lines
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve productivity
- Plan and analyze line capacity as per production requirements
- Monitor and improve OEE, UPH, and overall line efficiency
- Optimize manpower utilization and reduce idle time
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Support NPI builds and new line setup activities
- Improve material flow and workstation ergonomics
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts & Lean tools
- Expertise in line balancing, takt time, and capacity analysis
- Hands-on experience with time study & work measurement techniques
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes (SMT / Assembly preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and reporting tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
