Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to design reliable hardware solutions, including circuit design, PCB layout and system integration, for demanding environments.

You will contribute to product/process optimization, manage change notices, and collaborate across design, manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure product performance and robustness.

Qualifications

• Proficient in circuit design, PCB layout and system integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering relevant to hardware design or equivalent.
• Experience in hardware design for demanding environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to changes in product and process through Change Notices.
• Analyze change impact on end-to-end manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with Design/Continuous Engineering for all changes.
• Train plant personnel on Product and Customer Application knowledge.
• Support Product/Process analysis and problem-solving activities (8Ds, PFMEA).

Job description

Join us as a Senior Electronics Hardware Design Engineer and bring your expertise in circuit design, PCB layout, and system integration to life. You'll design innovative hardware solutions that are reliable, scalable, and built to perform in demanding environments.

• Ø Technical Antenna bridge the Line of Business and the Plant for Product/Process technical management
• Ø Contribute to Optimize (Product Evolution Process – PEP*)
• Ø Leads or contributes to the execution of Change Notices based on agreed timeline
• Ø Analyzes change impact on the end-to-end manufacturing processes
• Ø Proposes improvements to the Board of Change
• Ø Collect and send Adaptation, Quality, Productivity, Obsolescence and Withdrawal requests
• Ø Collaborates with Design/Continuous Engineering for all changes
• Ø Ensure the local Product-Process knowledge, contribute to technical problem solving
• Ø Train the actors in the plant on Product and Customer Application knowledge
• Ø Perform Product/Process analysis (surveillance test, Technical Returns i.e. TEX, defective products i.e. FPY, MDR, Red Box)
• Ø Contribute to Problem Solving (Root Cause Analysis in 8Ds)
• Ø Contribute to the Product reviews conducted with the Line of Business
• Ø Guarantee Product Performance Compliance & contribute to Product Robustness in the plant
• Ø Contribute to risk assessment (i.e. Severity in RPN) through PFMEA, PQCS & CQCP
• Ø Contribute to Critical Supply Robustness & Part Qualification, CQCS & CQCP
• Ø Take receipt of new offer arriving in the plant coming from Offer Creation (PMP*) and Industrial transfer.
• Ø knowledge of HVAC parts like coil, compressor, Evaporator, valves etc..
• Ø Knowledge of HVAC product like Chiller, CDU, Inorw and CRAY Units.
• Ø B.E/B.Tech (Mech/EEE/ECE/ENI)
