Job summary

AP Management Consultants in Puducherry invites a senior manufacturing leader to provide direction, strategy, and cost/benefit decisions with key partners. You will develop production documentation, support NPI reviews, and drive Lean initiatives across the plant.

You will participate in design reviews, lead DFM and DFA activities, resolve yield issues from pilot to mass production, and act as the technical liaison between R&D, design engineering and manufacturing during product development.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and strategy, and make operational decisions cost/benefit analysis with key stakeholders and partners
• Maintain and follow-up on action plan(s)
• Develop documentation to support production (PFMEA, work instructions, flow charts, procedures, routings data, product labels)
• Ensure compliance to New Product Introduction (NPI) Phase Review Guideline
• Actively participate in design reviews and provide input to new electronic circuit designs obsolescence redesigns
• Play a major role in implementing Lean Manufacturing within the plant
• Be a key player in resolving yield issues during pilot to Mass production
• Project manage product enhancements from design divisions
• Act as the technical liaison between R&D/design engineering and manufacturing during product development.
• Lead Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.
